Srinagar, Feb 02, KDC: Irrigation and Floods Control department -AEE Rambagh, Tehsildar South along with SDPO and SHO Sadder conducted joint demolition of various illegal structures on left embankment of Flood Channel at Old Barzulla Srinagar on Wednesday.
According to a statement “The structures include double storeyed building, boundary wall and also 2.5 kanals of Government land was retrieved which was grabbed by certain miscreants including a famous workshop owner Boola Motors at Barzulla.”
The drive was successfully conducted and shall continue in future as well, it said.
I&FC, Jal Shakti Department & District Administration Srinagar have taken a strong note of such illegal grabbing of bunds and government land and requested people to refrain from such acts in future, the statement added. (KDC)
