Srinagar, Jan 21, KDC: A 48-year-old railway cop died after he was hit by a train near GRP Panzgam in Pulwama district in south Kashmir, officials said.
They said head constable identified as Mohammad Hussain Dar (48) deployed at GRP (Panzgam) was hit by the train, resulting in his on the spot death.
The train departed from Budgam at 16:24 hours towards Banihal Railway station, they told Kashmir Dot Com.
A police official confirmed the death of the head constable. He said that proceedings have been initiated in this regard. (KDC)
