Srinagar, Dec 16, KDC: NIA Conducts Searches at Multiple Locations in Jammu and Kashmir and arrests an accused in J&K militancy Conspiracy Case (RC-29/2021/NIA/DLI)
According to a Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), NIA conducted searches at 04 locations in Sopore and Srinagar and arrested 01 accused person namely Irfan Tariq Antoo r/o Kral Tang, Sopore in RC-29/2021/NIA/DLI.
The case relates to conspiracy for undertaking violent terrorist acts in J&K and other major cities including New Delhi, by cadres of proscribed terrorist organisations Laskhar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al Badr and their affiliates such as the Resistance Front (TRF), People Against Fascist Forces (PAFF) etc.
NIA had registered the case as RC 29/2021/NIA/DLI) dated 10.10.2021 and initiated the investigation. NIA has arrested 28 persons in the case till now.
Investigation has revealed that arrested accused person is a terror associate/ OGW of proscribed terrorist organisation and have been providing logistical and material support to terrorists.
