An unknown person on Tuesday attacked a girl with acid in Kral Check area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said here.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that the girl (name withheld) of Kral Check Keller was attacked with acid by the unknown person today afternoon.
They said that the girl received injuries on her left shoulder in the incident and she was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where from she has been referred to SMHS hospital.
Meanwhile, a police officer while confirming the incident said they have registered a case in this regard, while further investigation has been taken up.
