Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jammu and Kashmir chief Ravinder Raina on Saturday said that Taliban and Al Qaeda militants will be buried alive if they attempt to cross into Kashmir region.
“Whether it is Taliban, or whether they bring Al Qaeda along, whosoever crosses the border, they will be buried alive. This is India and it is ruled by Narendra Modi and not Joe Biden, the American old man, who ran away from Afghanistan,” he said.
The BJP leader said the world should reconsider the emerging situation in Afghanistan and also urged NATO to launch military operations against militant targets and camps in Pakistan.
Raina also made a veiled reference to PDP president Mehbooba Mufti over her recent comments about the Taliban and said such politicians should go to Afghanistan.
“Those politicians who are in love with the Afghanistan’s Taliban, I want to tell them to leave India and go to Afghanistan,” Raina said at a party event in Jammu.
Raina made his comment in reference to Mufti’s last week remarks in which she had urged Taliban to be careful as the world was watching them.
The BJP leader, while not naming Mufti, said the politicians should stop “threatening us of Taliban”. “Many [like Taliban] had come and gone. We have seen many like them and were eliminated by our Army, Police and paramilitary forces,” he said. (TKW)
