Pulwama, Jun 28, KDC: A special police officer (SPO), his wife and daughter were killed after unknown gunmen attacked them at home in Hariparigam village of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday late evening.
A Police official told the news agency—Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that militants attacked the cop identified as Fayaz Ahmad (41) son of Rajab Bhat, his wife Raja Begum and 23 year old daughter Rafia Jan at their home, in which all the trio received grievous injuries.
He said the injured trio was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where SPO Fayaz Ahmad and his wife Raja begum were declared dead on arrival. While the daughter succumbed on the way to Srinagar hospital.
Police has already registered a case and started further investigation into the incident. (KDC)
