Budgam, June 26, KDC: An 18-year-old girl on Saturday evening allegedly tried to end her life by committing suicide in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a young girl (name withheld), a resident of Banderpora Drygam area of the district allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was immediately rushed to the district hospital Budgam where doctors have referred her to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment,” they said.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KDC)
