Srinagar, June 14, KDC: The 23-year-old militant, whose body was found in Soura area of Srinagar last evening, was on Monday buried at Handwara area in north Kashmir.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that after completing medico-legal formalities, the body was taken to Waderbala Handwara and laid to rest there.
Police on Sunday evening said that the body of the militant identified as Amir Ahmad Malik, a resident of Hyder Gund Zainapora Shopian was found from Anchar area of Soura .
They said that Amir was active since 31 October 2020. And was affiliated with the Al-Badr militant outfit, he was a category-C militant, police added.
