2 civilian, 2 cops killed in militants attack in Sopore, 3 others serious injured

Srinagar, June 12, KDC: Two civilians and two cops were killed and three others were injured after suspected militants fired upon on security forces in Arampora area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday.

A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that militants attacked joint team of Police and CRPF at a Naka in Arampora. However in this incident two civilian and two cops were killed and three others were injured and were immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment however doctors referred all the three injured persons to Srinagar for further treatment  and all the injured persons are said to be criticla, he said.

Meanwhile the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing militants, and a case has been registered, he added. (KDC)
