Srinagar, May 24, KDC: Amid COVID-19 Lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir, Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) on Monday distributed medicines for home quarantine patients across the valley. These medicines were to be supplied for Ayurvedic government hospitals in the Union territory.
According to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) distributed four thousand and five hundred COVID-19 kits of Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM) supply medicines and masks, sanitizers and oximeters among BJP district youth presidents for further distribution in their respective areas at party office at Jawahar Nagar area of Kashmir Capital Srinagar.
BJYM general secretary for J&K, Bilal Parray, inaugurated the mega distribution drive by distributing these ISM medical kits and masks, sanitizers and oximeters among the district presidents of Kashmir valley, in presence of senior BJP leaders Dr Ali Mohammad, Altaf Thakur, Arif Raja and other leaders of the party.
“We have been doing philanthropic work during this pandemic to help the deserving families,” Parry said, adding, such initiatives were much needed at this time, as Covid-19 pandemic has affected every section of society very badly.
Bilal said that the Youth Wing workers are always on toes to serve the society. These workers in all the districts would visit house to house to ensure that no Covid positive patient would venture out in search of medicines, which can led to spread of virus to others, he added.
Director ISM Jammu and Kashmir Dr Mohan Singh told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that we are supplying these immunomodulator drugs to every person who approaches us, whether Army, BSF, political or non-political, on the directions of the government of India. (KDC)
