Anantnag, May 16, KDC: An elderly man who was injured in a scuffle between two families in Dupathyar area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district five days ago succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS hospital on Sunday.

A Police official told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that an elderly man identified as Abdul Gani (50) son of Sidiq Mir, a resident of Dupathyar Bijbehara who was admitted at SKIMS Soura on May 12 after being seriously injured in a scuffle between two families at Dupathyar Bijbehara. Body of elderly man was handed over to his relatives for burial, he told KDC.

He said that an FIR was already registered in this connection and investigating has been taken up already. (KDC)
