Pattan, Apr 22, KDC: A wife in connivance with her paramour put her husband to death in Ranji, Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Thursday.
Baramulla Police in a statement issued to News Agency KDC reads, with the arrest of two accused at Renji Pattan Baramulla Police have solved a blend murder case.
On intervening night of 8/9′ March 2021 one Mond Altaf Malik S/0 Gh Rasool Malik R/o Seriwarpora age 34 years son in law of Late Abdul Razaq Ganie was found dead near his cowshed at Renji.He was later buried by family members at Renji Graveyard.
On 22 march brother of the deceased submitted an application for initiating inquest proceedings as he and his family members were suspicious regarding the death of their brother.
Accordingly as per formal orders of DM Baramulla, the dead body was exhumed and post mortem was conducted by a Panel of order, from GMC Baramulla. After the receipt of interim Medical Report and the statement of some prime witnesses the inquest proceedings U/S 174 CrPC were converted Into FIR vide No. 62/2021 H/S 302 IPC of PS Patton. The investigation was Cr, by SDPO Patten alongwith his team.
The SIT Team initiated a thorough investigation, activated all sources and by using a blend of technical and human intelligence, Police could finally fix the radar On the wife of the deceased, Tasleema Begum. She was last seen with the deceased and was put to sustained questioning during which she disclosed the commission of the crime along with one Ghulam Mohd Dar S/o Mohd Raman Dar Rio Renji.
The duo had hatched a conspiracy to kill the deceased It month before the occurrence as they were in an illegitimate relationship. On 8′ March both gave a final touch to their plan and accordingly Tasleema called Ghulam Mohd during night and they both bludgeoned Altaf to death.
Thereafter they took the body and threw it near cowshed to conceal the manner of death and camouflage it as death due to slipping.
Both the accused have been arrested, weapon of offence. their disclosure, further investigation is in progress the statement further reads. (KDC)
