Assurance to transporters at the cost of general public ‘ll B a move to break the back of common masses by hiking the fare-tarrifs & prices of other essential commodities over which there seemz ‘no control of the Govt’ have already been hiked due to un-abated rise in petrolium goods’ prices which has caused an alarming unrest throughout the country will prove counter productive.Rather than overburdening the alread broken common man,Govt should thìnk of measures & try to control the ‘ghost’ of dearness by other available means such as cut-off in taxes ,roll back already raised taxes and giving packages to the Tranport industry by enhancing the life span of vehicles from 15 to 20 year etc etc.
