Budgam, Jan 25, KDC: Budgam Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two bootleggers and recovered 23 bottles of illicit liquor.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that “During Naka checking at Nambalhar here, police party of Police Station Khanshab intercepted an Auto Rickshaw bearing registered No.JK01V 1751 with two persons on onboard. During search 23 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from their possession.”
He identified them as Sheeraz Ahmed Paul son of Khazer Mohammed Paul resident of Chanpora Srinagar and Niranjan Kumar son of Parmanand Kumar resident of Bihar.
The officer said cases FIR No.06/2021 have been registered at PS Khanshab and further investigation has been taken up. (KDC)
