Sopore Police solved murder case within 12 Hours, woman among three accused arrested

Sopore, Jan 23, KDC: Sopore Police on Saturday calimed to have solved a murder case within 12 hours and arrested all the three accused persons involved in commission of crime after carrying out investigation in a professional manner.

As per details, a 50-year old man Khalil Mohammad Sheikh of Tarzoo Sopore was critically injured in a scuffle that broke out between two families at Tarzoo area of Sopore in North Kashmir on Friday afternoon.

Later on the injured person was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead.

Acting on a complaint, Sopore Police lodged an FIR under relevant section and investigation was taken up.

During the due course of investigation, a team headed by Station House Officer Tarzoo, Bilal Ahmed Khanday, within 12 hours arrested all the three accused involved in the crime.

Officer identified the accused persons as Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, Nasreena Begum, Wife of Mohammad Shafi Sheikh and Irfan Ahmed Sheikh.
