Srinagar, Dec 12, KDC: Two Power Development Department employees came in touch with a live wire while repairing faulty supply lines in North and central Kashmir’s, while one among succumbs on Saturday.
An official told news agency KDC that at Machil a PDD employee identified as Mohammad Rafiq Son of Mohd Sabir came in touch with a live wire while repairing faulty power supply and died on spot.
In central Kashmir’s Budgam district, one PDD daily wager identified as Mohammad Ashraf came also in touch with live wire while on duty was seriously injured and was rushed to district hospital Budgam, where doctors referred him to SMHS Srinagar for advance treatment.
Police have taken the cognizance of both the incidents. (KDC)
