Budgam, July 03, KDC: A casual laborer working with Power Development Department (PDD) sustained grievous injuries when he received a ‘deadly’ power shock in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
Police sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a PDD casual laborer identified as Abdul qayoom Ganie son of Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Ganie Mohalla of Budgam received electric shock while clicking photographs of newly installed transformer in the district.
They said the injured person was immediately rushed to district hospital Budgam where he was referred to Srinagar hospital in critical conditions.
Meanwhile, Budgam police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KDC)
