Srinagar, May 07, KDC: Three persons including a cop and CRPF man were injured after unknown persons hurled a grenade towards a deployment party of CRPF in Nawab Bazar chowk of Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Sources said that a grenade was tossed on a deployment party of 36 Battalion that exploded with a bang, leaving at least three persons including a civilian injured.
The injured have been identified as Constable Fayaz Ahmed, right abdomen splinter injury, CRPF man Harish Kumar of 36 battalion multiple splinter injuries and civilian Hazik Ali, son of Mohammad Digoo a resident of Chanapora with leg injury, (Haziq) runs a poultry shop.
The condition of the injured are stated to be stable.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers. (KDC)
