Baramulla, Nov 25, KDC: Police have launched separate investigations into alleged irregularities involving two organisations in the North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, initiating action following receipt of information about unlawful and non-compliant activities.

In the first case, Baramulla Police registered FIR No. 208/2025 at Police Station Baramulla against an association identified as Idarah Fallah-u-Darain for alleged unlawful activities. During the investigation, coordinated raids were conducted at multiple premises linked to the organisation, and several individuals associated with it were questioned. Police said the probe is ongoing and further legal action will be taken based on evidence collected, reported news agency Kashmir Dot Com.

In a separate development, Baramulla Police have also initiated a preliminary inquiry into the financial and operational functioning of Al Huda Educational Institute. The inquiry, registered at Police Station Tangmarg under DDR No. 9 dated 24/11/2025, pertains to reported violations of regulatory and financial compliance norms, possible breaches of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), gaps in financial documentation, suspected tax-related irregularities, and allegations of the institute operating from state land without due process.

Police said both matters are under active examination and necessary action will follow as the inquiries progress. (KDC)
