Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has nominated 35 women officers from various departments to take part in a special Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on disaster management.

As per a Government Order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the three-day programme will be conducted at J&K IMPARD, Srinagar, from September 24 to 26.

The participants include Block Development Officers (BDOs), Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Tehsildars, and engineers from different districts.

“The training is aimed at building the capacity of women officers as disaster managers so that they can respond effectively in emergencies and strengthen preparedness at the grassroots level,” the order notes. (KDC)
