SRINAGAR, JUNE 10: To enhance emergency preparedness and response among the staff, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, in collaboration with the Fire & Emergency department, today organized a comprehensive fire fighting mock drill at the institution.

The mock drill witnessed active participation from various stakeholders, including the Principal/Dean, Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan; Administrator Associated Hospitals, M Ashraf Hakak; Chief Accounts Officer and staff members from sanitation, security, mechanical, and electrical departments of GMC and associated hospitals.

During the drill, participants were trained on fire safety procedures, usage of fire extinguishers, and evacuation protocols.
