JAMMU, MAY 12: In a solemn gesture of solidarity and respect, Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today visited the residence of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa (JKAS), Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty due to cross-border shelling in Rajouri.
Expressing profound grief over the untimely loss, the Chief Secretary extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, acknowledging the officer’s exceptional dedication and sacrifice. He emphasized that Dr. Thapa’s service to the community and his unwavering commitment towards his responsibilities will always be remembered with deep respect and admiration.
On the occasion, Dulloo observed that his service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. The government stands firmly with his family in this hour of grief, he added.
The Chief Secretary assured the family of all possible support from the administration, reiterating the commitment to stand by the family during this difficult time. He also interacted with the family members, offering words of comfort and assurance of continued support.
