Srinagar, Aug 13: A Special Police Officer (SPO), who was injured in a road accident on August 3, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital last night, reports said Tuesday.
Quoting officials, news agency KDC reported that the SPO identified as Muhammad Maqbool, resident of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora, was hit by a speedy vehicle when he was driving his Scooty in Bandipora.
The injured was shifted to CHC Dawar wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS, Soura. However, he breathed his last late night, they said.
Police have registered the case and investigations have been taken up, it reported.
