Srinagar, June 19, KDC: Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Hadipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

A  police officer told Kashmir Dot Com that two terrorists have been killed in Hadipora, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

The encounter ensued when a joint team of security forces intensified their search operations in the suspected area. The terrorists, hiding in the region, opened fire on the forces, leading to a gunfight.

During the exchange, an army soldier and a policeman sustained injuries. They have been promptly evacuated to a hospital, where doctors have reported their conditions to be stable. (KDC)
