Bandipora, Sep 17, KDC: An army soldier was killed and another wounded in an accidental discharge of weapon in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said today.
“There has been an accidental discharge of weapon resulting in one fatal casualty and one injury to army personnel. Accused army personnel has been detained. Necessary legal action has been initiated,” Bandipora Police posted on X (formerly Twitter).
A police officer told KDC that the incident has happened during intervening night of Saturday Sunday in the jurisdiction of police station Bandipora. (KDC)
