Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti said that she was disturbed to see the deteriorating situation in Kashmir and that Government of India has turned the region into a ‘hellhole’.

Mehbooba’s comments came on a day when two non-Muslim teachers were killed by suspected militants in a school in Srinagar.

Taking to her Twitter handle, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir said, “Disturbing to see the deteriorating situation in Kashmir where a minuscule minority is the latest target. The government of India’s claims of building a Naya Kashmir has actually turned it into a hellhole. Its sole interest is to use Kashmir as a milch cow for its electoral interests.”
