Officials from the traffic department said that due to the sudden landslip, vehicular movement has been completely stopped, and road clearance operations are underway.

“Movement has been halted from both sides. Commuters are advised not to travel on NH-44 until the road is cleared,” official said.

Authorities have urged travelers to check the latest road status through official social media platforms of the traffic police, including Twitter and Facebook.
