JAMMU, Apr 24: Security forces and suspected terrorists exchanged fire during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Thursday, sources said.
The firing took place in the Dudu-Basantgarh area after security forces launched a cordon and search operation based on inputs about the presence of terrorists.
The search operation was underway when last reports were received.
