Srinagar, Apr 23: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday led a protest march in Srinagar against the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 people, mostly tourists.

Accompanied by senior party leaders and workers, Mufti assembled at the PDP headquarters near Sher-e-Kashmir Park before marching towards Lal Chowk, the city’s commercial hub.

Protesters carried placards reading, “This is an attack on all of us,” “Killing innocents is an act of terror,” and “Stop innocent killings,” as they denounced the violence that struck the Baisaran meadows on Tuesday.

The attack, one of the deadliest targeting civilians in the region in recent years, has sparked widespread condemnation across the political spectrum.
