Srinagar, Apr 22, KDC: Mehbooba Mufti, leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has called for a complete shutdown across Kashmir tomorrow in response to the inhumane terror attack in Pahalgam, which targeted tourists and left several innocent lives lost.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mufti stated, “It’s time to unite against the massacre of innocents.” She emphasized that the attack was not just an assault on a few, but an attack on all Kashmiris.

The call for the bandh has garnered widespread support, with the Chamber & Bar Association Jammu also backing the shutdown as a mark of respect for the victims. This unified stance aims to show solidarity with the families affected by the attack and condemn the brutality of the assault.

As the Kashmir Valley grapples with the aftermath, political and social organizations are rallying behind the bandh to stand together in grief and outrage, demanding justice for the innocent lives lost in this tragic attack. (KDC)
