JAMMU, Apr 22: Nitishwar Kumar, former Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, is among seven IAS officers who have been empanelled for holding posts of Additional Secretary (AS) or its equivalent at the Centre by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Kumar is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
Other officers empanelled include Anju Sharma (Gujarat, 1991), Aniruddhe Mukerjee (Madhya Pradesh, 1993), Sunil Kumar Barnwal (Jharkhand, 1997), Manish Bhardwaj (Gujarat, 1997), Shantanu (Tripura, 1997), and Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu (Uttarakhand, 1997).
