Srinagar, April 21: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday led a delegation of senior party leaders to pay a condolence visit to the family of eminent religious scholar and leader Allama Aga Syed Baqir Al Safvi Najafi, who left for his heavenly abode on Friday.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party leaders visited the Badgam residence of Allama Aga Syed Baqir Al Safvi Najafi’s family to extended condolences and solidarity with them.

On this occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that “the passing of Allama Aga Syed Baqir Al Safvi Najafi is a profound loss for the Muslim community of Kashmir. Allama dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam and to guiding people on the path of righteousness and truth.”

The Apni Party President said that “the void left by the passing of Allama Aga Syed Baqir Al Safvi Najafi is impossible to fill, as such magnanimous personalities are rarely born. His presence was a blessing for the people, as he always stood for truth, unity, and harmony among communities.”

Speaking on the occasion, party’s Chief Spokesperson and State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin paid glowing tributes to the Allama Aga Syed Baqir Al Safvi Najafi.

During this condolence visit, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari was accompanied by the party’s Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Chief Spokesperson and State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin,
