Police is doing good job in controlling drug menace but health department is very non serious in providing treatment to drug addicts. This is evident from the fact that they are nonserious in appointing staff for Addiction Treatment Facilities (ATF) in district hospitals for which posts were advertised in February 2024, exam was held after lapse of more than one year in March 2025 from 15 march to 18 march. Their nonseriousness is evident from the fact that directorate of health services has failed to disclose selection list so for. Posts of medical officers and nurses for ATF are vacant and addicts suffer
