SRINAGAR, Mar 25: Police in Handwara conducted searches at multiple locations, including the residences of individuals associated with the proscribed outfit Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (G). The operation was carried out in connection with Case FIR No. 07/2024, registered at Handwara Police Station.
According to a statement from Handwara Police, the searches were conducted based on credible inputs, and incriminating material was recovered from the searched locations. “The investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will follow based on the findings,” the statement added.
Police reaffirmed their commitment to curbing activities linked to banned organizations and urged the public to report any suspicious activities that may threaten peace and security in the district.
