International Year of Cooperatives: Debate Competition held at AAAM Degree College Bemina

SRINAGAR, MARCH 17, KDC: As part of celebrations of ‘International Year of Cooperatives’, a debate competition themed ‘Cooperative Model of Economy- A viable alternative to Capitalism’ was organized today by the office of Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, Srinagar at AAAM Degree College Bemina.

Principal, AAAM Degree College Bemina, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Srinagar, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Srinagar attended the event, which also witnessed the participation of staff and students.

In all, 10 students participated in the contest and expressed their views on the topic articulately. The participants spoke at length about the history of the Cooperative movement, its importance in the present world and its future.

At the conclusion of the event, a prize distribution ceremony was held wherein the winners namely M Hussain Khan, Qurat Ul Ain, Seerat Ul Noor were felicitated by the department. (KDC)
