JAMMU, Mar 11: At least four people were killed and eight others injured early Tuesday when a tempo vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Reasi district, officials said.
A police official stated that the vehicle, traveling from Jammu to Bagankote, apparently went out of the driver’s control before veering off the road. Four passengers died on the spot, while eight others sustained injuries.
Local volunteers, police, and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital. However, the official said the condition of the injured was not immediately known.
