SRINAGAR: On the occasion of the 56th Foundation Day of CISF, “CISF Week-2025” is being observed until March 10. As part of these celebrations, the CISF Unit ASG Srinagar organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at the COVID Hall, in collaboration with Soura Hospital, Srinagar.

The camp was inaugurated by Sr. Commandant/CASO Avadhesh Pratap Singh, with the active participation of CISF Deputy Commandant Pushpendra Singh Tanwar, Chief Medical Officer of Soura Hospital Dr. Zubair, CISF officers, jawans, and other volunteers. A total of 45 units of blood were donated, reflecting the commitment of CISF personnel to humanitarian service. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Senior Medical Officer Dr. Zubair and Counselor Mrs. Mehbooba Jan, along with Dr. Pranavi.

This noble initiative by CISF underscores its unwavering dedication not only to national security but also to social responsibility. The CISF has consistently demonstrated its commitment to public welfare, going beyond its core duties to serve society in times of need. Events like these reinforce the selfless spirit and humanitarian values upheld by the CISF, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many. (KDC)
