Bandipora, February 21: In a strategic move to strengthen its grassroots presence, the Congress unit Bandipora has appointed Mushtaq Ahmed Lone as the Block President for Bankoot Block. The decision was made during a meeting presided over by senior party leader Inamul Haq, with the consensus of all Halqa presidents.
Inamul Haq, known for his dedication to social and political initiatives in Bandipora, emphasized the importance of empowering local leadership to reinforce the party’s foundation. He stated, “Appointing committed individuals like Mushtaq Ahmed Lone is pivotal to our mission of strengthening the party at the grassroots level.”
The meeting, held at the party office in Bankoot, was attended by key figures, including Irshad Ahmad, Sarfaraz Reshi, Javid Ahmad, and Farooq Ahmad.During the meeting several other appointments were also made: Vice Block President: Peerzada Shabir Ahmad Shah, Vice Block President Nazir Ahmad khan (ST community)
