SRINAGAR: A soldier was injured in a suspected cross-border firing incident along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.
The soldier sustained injuries following suspected fire from across the LoC and was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment. His condition is reported to be stable, they added.
Security forces have launched an investigation into the incident, and further details are awaited.
