Srinagar. Jan 23, KDC:: A minor fire broke out in the electrical room of the Mini Secretariat in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, likely caused by a short circuit, officials said.
They told Kashmir Dot Com that the incident occurred in the evening, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Emergency Services Department. Firefighters arrived promptly at the scene and extinguished the flames, preventing any significant damage or injury.
“No major loss was reported, and the situation is under control,” an official from the Fire and Emergency Services confirmed.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire, though preliminary assessments suggest a possible short circuit. (KDC)
