BUDGAM, JANUARY 6: Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, today reviewed the winter preparedness measures in Budgam, focusing on snow clearance operations and the availability of essential services.

During his visit, the Advisor was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Akshay Labroo. Nodal Officers of the district briefed the Advisor on the steps being taken to ensure uninterrupted services despite the challenges posed by the weather.

The meeting was also attended by elected representatives, including MLA Khansahib Saif Din Bhat, MLA Chadoora Ali Mohammed Dar, and MLA Beerwa Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani. Senior officials, such as the district’s Executive Engineers and the Chief Planning Officer, were also present.

Advisor Nasir Aslam underscored the need for coordinated efforts among all departments to ensure timely snow clearance, restoration of essential services, and uninterrupted availability of supplies for the residents.

He stressed that proactive and efficient measures are crucial for minimizing disruptions and providing relief to citizens during snowfall. Reassuring the public, the Advisor affirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding the well-being of the people during the harsh winter season.

He assured that all necessary resources are being mobilized to address the needs of the residents. (KDC)
