DC B’la chairs DLIC meeting to review implementation of PM- Vishwakarma scheme

BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 20: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Friday presided over a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) here to assess the progress of the PM Vishwakarma scheme’s saturation in the district.

At the outset, the chair was provided a comprehensive overview of progress made with respect to the implementation of Vishwakarma scheme in the district.

The DDC directed the officers to ensure the scheme’s coverage in all villages and facilitate the enrollment of artisans from every panchayat across the district.

Meanwhile, Minga Sherpa instructed the officers to ensure that comprehensive trainings are conducted for all the artisans who have enrolled for the Vishawakarma scheme for different trades.

The meeting was attended by the General Manager, DIC, Nighat Alam; Chief Planning Officer Baramulla, Assistant Commissioner Development and other concerned officers.
