Anantnag, November 26: Constitution Day 2024 was celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence across all Police establishments in Anantnag district. The occasion highlighted the commitment to uphold the principles enshrined in the Constitution of India, with police personnel reaffirming their dedication to the nation’s core values of justice, equality, and democracy.

The central event took place at the District Police Office (DPO) Anantnag, featuring a solemn oath-taking ceremony. Led by SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, senior officers administered the oath of allegiance to a large gathering of police personnel. Held in the DPO lawns, the ceremony saw participants pledge to uphold the Constitution and carry out their duties with integrity, sincerity, and dedication.

The observance served as a poignant reminder of the guiding principles of the Indian Constitution, emphasizing the crucial role of law and order in ensuring societal well-being. The district police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and security, upholding the rule of law, and fostering a sense of justice for all citizens.
