SRINAGAR: National Conference leader and CM-to-be Omar Abdullah is set to chair a key meeting with Administrative Secretaries at 3 PM on Wednesday, shortly after officially taking over as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah will be sworn in as CM at 11:30 AM tomorrow, following an official invitation from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
“After the Oath-taking Ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Minister, J&K, shall chair a meeting of all Administrative Secretaries on 16.10.2024 (Wednesday) at 03:00 PM in the Meeting Hall, 3rd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar. Accordingly, all the Administrative Secretaries are requested to kindly attend the meeting on the scheduled date, time, and venue,” reads a meeting notice issued by the General Administrative Department of J&K Govt, a copy of whiles lies with Kashmir Dot Com.
This will be Abdullah’s second term as the Chief Minister, leading the NC-Congress alliance, which secured 48 seats in the recent J&K elections. After taking charge, the meeting with the Administrative Secretaries will focus on various governance issues. (KDC)
