SRINAGAR: Dr. Touseef Ahmed was elected as the Secretary of Rotary Club Kashmir at an installation ceremony presided over by District Governor (DG) Dr. P.S. Grover of District 3070.
Rotary Club Kashmir, a unit of Rotary International, is part of a global network with over 1.2 million active Rotarians across 200 countries. The club focuses on addressing pressing issues like healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability in Kashmir.
DG Dr. P.S. Grover praised Dr. Touseef Ahmed’s leadership qualities and commitment to Rotary’s values. “Dr. Touseef’s passion for service and expertise will undoubtedly elevate the club’s initiatives and create a lasting impact in the community.”
Vivek Thankha, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and a Rotarian, also graced the occasion as a special invitee.
