SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police have taken cognizance of the actions of the family members of Noor Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Kondenpeth Nigeen, for causing a disturbance at Police Station Nigeen and sharing false allegations and misinformation via social media platforms.
According to police, Noor Mohammad Bhat is a notorious criminal involved in serious offenses such as usury, extortion, and kidnappings, posing a significant threat to public order. He has been detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) due to multiple FIRs lodged against him by the public.
The police have urged the public to refrain from spreading misleading information on social media and to rely on verified sources. As per Police, investigations into the actions of Bhat’s family members are underway. (KDC)
