Properties of 5 Pakistan-based Militant Handlers Attached in Baramulla: Police

Srinagar, June 27, KDC: Jammu and Kashmir police attached properties worth crores of Pakistan-based five militant handlers in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, said a police spokesperson in a statement issued here on Thursday.

The attachment of land comprising of nine kanals, as per the statement, was executed after obtaining orders passed by Baramulla court.

“Police in Baramulla after obtaining attachment order passed by Hon’ble Court Baramulla attached properties (9 Kanals) land worth crore belonging to 5 terror handlers based in Pakistan, namely Bashir Ah Ganie son of Gh Ahmad of Tilgam; Mehraj-ud-Din Lone son of Fata Mohd of Khargam; Ghulam Mohd Yatoo son of Gh Ahmad of Tilgam; Ab Rehman Bhat son of Mohd Subhan of Wanigam Payeen; and Ab Rashid Lone son of Gh Mohi-ud-Din of Satreseeran,” reads the statement, as per Kashmir Dot Com.

“Action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC & are linked with case FIR No.04/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act,7/25 Indian Arms Act,13 UA (P) Act of PS Kreeri,” reads the statement, adding, the properties were identified during course of investigation conducted by police. (KDC)
