Srinagar, Jun 19: An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Rafiabad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
The gunfight started after a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Lyser, Hadipora in the police jurisdiction of Sopore.
An official said that searches were launched following a specific input about the presence of militants in the area.
