Srinagar, June 03: An encounter broke out in the Nihama area of south Kashmir Pulwama district on Monday, police said.
A police spokesman said the encounter began after police and security forces launched a search operation in the Nihama area early today.
“Encounter breaks out in the Nihama area of Pulwama district. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” he said in a post on X.
