Ganderbal, May 26: The mercury soared to 34.8°C in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, marking the season’s hottest day in the Kashmir valley during the month of May.
A meteorological department official said that the maximum temperature of 34.8°C was recorded in Ganderbal district, followed by Qazigund at 32.6°C.
